Any excuse for you to post your favourite pin-up!! That article was written by an idiot thinking their readers are idiots too!! As you say, they are all mammals, so their genes will have more similarities than differences. It's the differences that serious researchers are interested in. And Humans and kangaroos last shared an ancestor at least 150m years ago, while mice and humans diverged only 70 million years ago. - so shouldn't the banner say Humans and mice share same genes?
More in the way the genomes are formed in which order the DNA is and how it is then folded. Humans and chimps share something like 97% identical DNA coding, but because it is folded slightly differently and the 3% is what defines the chimp and the human, then it's all kinda debatable.
Really? Could explain why some are more bent than others... Or, wait for it, why some are more appeeling (sp deliberate) than others...:bolt: I'll get my hat.
