    Happy New Year???????????

    Hi Kitty,
I hope the snow transfers itself to our antipodean friends to cool their weather down at this time of the year.
Can anyone tell me how that governmental money making rumour, global warming, has suddenly vanished, we have paid for it so bring it back Gordon, I want to get off my drive.
At the same time hand our smilies back, without charge.

Happy WARMER New year to everyone in the northern half and a special wish for snow down under.

    Cheers
    KeithDXVII.

I think it was just a Socialist Conspiracy to increase State Control and boost the profits of companies that make expensive light bulbs that take ages to come on!

I just about got to work today, driving. I suspect the snow is going to be bad enough to be a pain but not quite bad enough to justify not going to work.

And Tescos don't come in the snow either. Internet shopping seems to be another part of modern technology that folds up at the slightest sign of snow. I'm sure snow never stopped my parent's milkman from getting through in the 60's. Fortunately we have another supermarket walking distance away (and we had to walk rather than risk getting ice-bound in the car park) but the lifestyle of a post-modern middle-class couple who both work and have two children with hectic extra-curricular activities is not conducive to actually visiting supermarkets!

does the super have any food? One i am currently using has little left and no milk cos the wagon can't negotiate a small patch of snow in its entrance. Joy. Idiots panic buying everything, then can guarantee they'll waste most of it. Sheesh, and am about 3 miles away from Benson right now, so last night was cold at -18. Thankfully only given i to -10 tonight, but am annoyed, I tried to build a snowman today and the damn snow wouldn't stick together at all, was just powder. grrr.

The food supply is a lottery to say the least, but we've got some version of most of what we need.

Now Bromley Council are saying they have suspended all rubbish collections....
