Flying Tigers

    My dad was in the Army Air Corp and he flew all over the world with the Flying Tigers in WWII. He told us many interesting stories of loading the planes and then flying in them with supplies. He wasn't a pilot, but was one of the crew. A few months ago I went to an air show and saw the shark-faced planes for the first time.

    I thought the Flying Tigers were only the air group assigned to China during Sino-Japanese war.

    Well make no mistake, these pilots have also fought elsewhere, but their unit was not called Flying Tiger outside China...at least that's what I thought. Correct me if I am wrong. :)
