Did you know that ... Charles Lindbergh took only four sandwiches with him on his famous transatlantic flight
Amazing, he made it all the way across the Atlantic without an in-flight movie, a dozen channels of entertainment through his headphones, complimentary toiletries, warm refresher towels, execrable coffee, etc. On the other hand, he didn't have fellow passengers to annoy him, talking loudly about how successful they are, or how well their grandkids are doing, and so forth. Nor did he have to put up with snotty-nosed infants noisily running riot in the cabin. Gareth
Nope .... he brought only F I V E sandwiches! .... '' If I get to Paris, I won't need any more. And if I don't get to Paris, I won't need any more, either. '' Lindbergh noted drily.
Hmm .... good infos .. and I think you know that he sacrificed a lot to keep himself as well as his craft lightweight!
