Amazing, he made it all the way across the Atlantic without an in-flight movie, a dozen channels of entertainment through his headphones, complimentary toiletries, warm refresher towels, execrable coffee, etc. On the other hand, he didn't have fellow passengers to annoy him, talking loudly about how successful they are, or how well their grandkids are doing, and so forth. Nor did he have to put up with snotty-nosed infants noisily running riot in the cabin.

Hmm .... good infos .. and I think you know that he sacrificed a lot to keep himself as well as his craft lightweight!

 

In 1927, he was Time magazine's very first "Man (now Person) of the Year."
