Hi all Thought I'd get this done while I have time. Jodi and I are moving to New South Wales (inching towards QLD, John!) as Jodi has got a new job on a gold mine up there. From Friday, we're on holiday and will be back at the end of the first week of August. Doubt I'll be back online then as the removalists arrive the day after we come home. We're due to clock on for Jodi's first day in mid-August so it'll be a bit manic. We've only been in Melbourne since May last year but once I lost my job and have subsequently struggled to even get a response from some employers (did make it to the final two for a job with the Treasury Dept though), we've been looking for something different. Jodi has been itching to get back into operations as well - as opposed to consulting. I'm hoping to get back into driving or some other operational job on site. So, I'll say 'see you later' now in case I don't get back on. Hope this finds you all well. Andy

Welcome to NSW Andy & Jodi. Yes you are getting closer to Queensland aren't you. Just to let you in on a little secret, I was born and bred in Sydney NSW, and moved to Qld when I was 53 after being retrenched from my job in 1993. I am sure you and Jodi will enjoy your time in NSW :lol:

Watcha Poodle Boy! The holiday will be fab, the move will be hectic, Jodi will love it at the gold mine, and I am placing my order for a 1lb of gold. If you want that book anyway :>
In my time I've probably transported about one kg of gold. The only prob is it was somewhere in among the thousands of tonnes of dirt and rock I carried!
No ferrets but managed to accumulate a few books since we went on holiday and moved. I've been banned from buying books till Christmas. LOL, then I'll ask for gift vouchers to book stores! Great holiday, very relaxing. The move went okay, a bit of a delay which was frustrating once we got here, but the house is almost fully unpacked. Anyone want some boxes? :becky:
