In our local paper "Wiltshire Times" military historian Marc Young is searching for WW1 artefacts and info in the Wylye Valley. he is also helping to co-ordinate displays and re-enactments for the Wylye Valley 1914 Project planned for July 2014. He is exploring the period between August 1914 and April 1915 when 24,000 ANZACs lived and trained in the valley. See the website www.wylyevalley1914.org.uk for more info on the project.
