Oh Cally .... while you're here .... on the very last page is a photo of Jim Daniels .... it says "Denver " I assumed ( silly me !! ) it was the city of Denver .... but do you think it could be a ship ??
Annie - it is hard to be definitely sure because there was a cruiser USS Denver CL-16 during WW1 but I feel sure that the reference is to the city of Denver rather than to the warship...
