Thumb's-Up: the suggested Viet Nam feature which I would gladly pay to see, the general tone of shock and dismay at a ridiculous movie, the "Verdict."
Thumb's-Down: the snobbery directed toward Bon Jovi who is an adequate screen presence regardless of the writer's obsession with the man's musical past, distracting from the items that actually make the film ridiculous. A German destroyer in the open Atlantic in 1942...?
Brilliant. No idea it was condemned (rightly so) by parliament.
I know it was condemned by movie-goers....
...not to mention the Merlin-powered Fiat masquerading as a patrol bomber...sounded good though.
Bloody awful flick.
