A good friend of mine just dropped off a WWI trench periscope for artillery-spotting. (It was sitting in his nephew's barn attic for a few years and he wanted to get rid of it.) It came in an oblong wooden case with numbers on the top, and included some sort of webbing gear and a devise for lighting it at night. I do not know the manufacturer, what the webbing was for, or where to find operating instructions. If anyone can direct me on any of these things, I would appreciate their input.:)
