The Japanese Garand

    A rifle I've always found fascinating was the Japanese derivative known as the Type 4. They basically took the basic action of the Garand, rechambered it in 7.7mm, had it feed from a integral magazine (loaded with 2 5-round stripper clips) rather than the 8-round en bloc clip, and made a few other modifications. Few were made before the end of the war. Anyway, this video shows close up of one such rifle. I found it pretty interesting, so I am passing it along. Cheers.
