    It made me laugh to read that The March of the Cameron Men made an impression ..... when I looked it up ... the words were in Gaelic !!

    The book to look for is Gordon Corrigan's Sepoys in the Trenches, ISBN 1 86227 054 6. It's a very readable account of the actions of the Indian Corps in France in 1914-1915.
