Yep, it was bound to happen. Switzerland has always mainteined a neutrality policy. And in order to deter other nations you have to do two things. Provide services (In this case financial services. And chocolate services XD) and show off your military strenght.
Is it the Swiss that arm all their civilians with automatic rifles? I'm fairly certain it is, they also have a much lower homicide rate than many countries that have laws against personal arms.
How I miss the tomcats.. Yeah there are a lot of more advanced jets nowadays, but for its still the f14's that conquer the skies.
This is a picture of one of their F-18s, taken during the demonstration. Can any one tell me why there is a white fog like cloud around the aircraft?
@ Vladimir, I don't know for sure what that smoke is, but I can try to guess... 1. The smoke caused by the launch of flare. 2. The smoke caused by the afterburner 3. Someone dropped his pizza on the photo.
