    Unit : 195th Airlanding Field Ambulance, attached to No.14 Platoon, "B" Company, 2nd Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry
    Army No. : 7380190

    Albert Gregory was a member of the 195th Airlanding Field Ambulance, attached to the 2nd Battalion the Ox and Bucks Light Infantry in Normandy. He was aboard the third of the coup-de-main raid gliders to land beside Pegasus Bridge in the early hours of the 6th June. The following has been written by Alan Gregory, describing the wartime experiences of his mother and father, including first-hand accounts from both.

    Thanks for this; its great that he wrote down his memories. There must be thousands of such stories that are lost for ever.
