The Saratoga campaign was disastorous and ended with a terrible surrender. Do you guys think this had an overall effect on what happened.
Yes, it did have a great effect on the outcome of the war. If I recall correctly, the Saratoga campaign was the one that failed because Howe decided to stay in Philadelphia with his lover instead of doing his job.
