Is anyone interested in this topic?

I am currently reading/typing a book written by a war correspndent of that era. He was an American, writes fairly well, but is rather heavy on background information. But at the perspective on some hundred years, and as it is a topic which most English-speaking peoples have little knowledge, having the backround information is a good thing.

I greatly suspect he covered only the Russian side of the conflict.

I am about 100 pages into this work (it being some 470 pages in length) and he is describing the building the Russian Trans-manchurian and Trans-siberian Railsways. I am finding this facsinating, as it dovetails into my research on the US Invasion of Russia circa 1918-1920.

Somewhere in my books I have a Life of Admiral Togo as written by his son, which I suspect willl tell the other sside of the conflict.

I would lve to correspond with anyone who has knowledge of this obscure topic of military history.
