Badge1.jpg Hello all, nice to find this forum. I was wondering if anyone has any more info what this badge represented ?

I'm guessing it Russian from the cyrillic writing, which I believe translates to:

    2130ROV.244BORIS.234S613R

...and I can see the wings. The dates at the bottom are 1811 to 1911 and it also says 100, which must mean a centenary was being celebrated. 195 must mean something, but loads of google searches have not turned up a 195th regiment and russin paras seem to have started in the 1930s.

As I said, any help would be much appreciated so if people ask what is on the shelf, I can at least tell them something useful !
