robert baxter dsc

    Hello all, can anyone help me to find out why robert was awarded the dsc? he was a skipper on minesweepers in ww2 and lived in grimsby. I believe his number was ts199 but not sure. I also think he redeived a mid. any help appriciated. regards, john baxter

    Hi John,
    Have you tried the London Gazette website. That would give you the date so you could work from there and get the details then from Kew records. MID's were also gazetted as well so you maybe able to find that as well.
