    Do you happen to have any pictures of either the U-boat or the Commander please ? or do you know anything about either ? :)

    Thanks Jerome - I checked there - but I was really looking for pictures if possible :rolleyes:

    And Cally found one of the sub ... thanks Cally !! :D

    Except I wanted U 80 not UB 80 .... that's different isn't it ? this is the one ... the one that got the gold bullion !!

    It is a bit confusing Annie

    The U-boat I submitted the picture of UB-80 was in existence between 1916-1917.

    U-80 was a WW2 boat 1941-1944. But I have just found out there was another U-80 in existence between 1916 and 1918!! Complicated - I will see if I have a picture of that one as well...
