What aspect of WWI do you find fascinating? Was it that the Spanish Influenza Pandemic was spread due to the troop movements? Was it some military strategy? I look back and it warms my heart to think about the 1914 Christmas truce. When enemies who did not even speak the same language could bond together during the holiday and get out of the trenches. I cannot imagine spending time singing and drinking with my enemies, only to have to climb back in the trenches and shoot to kill those same men.
