MILITARY MEDAL LOCATION

Hi all. What I am looking for with your help as before with my queries.My grandfather won the military medal on the 16th November 1917.He was in the 430th Royal Engineers.I do have the war diaries for the company and the time . I wonder if anyone could tell me how to find a more accurate position as we intend to visit on the day to commemorate the 100 year centenary Thanks Brian.
