    Can anybody please see a medal card for this Army Chaplain please ? ... I can't see him !!

    London Gazette 26th June 1915
    Reverend Jerome Walsh commissioned as a Chaplain to the Forces
    4th Class

    He arrived in Boulogne June 26th 1915 - his service record is under Jerome ... but his real name is Timothy !

    I found 4 Walsh's who were Chaplains .... and none of them are him .... he should have qualified for medals shouldn't he ?? He served for 4 years and 3 months

    Yes, he'd have qualified, but, as an (equivalent of an) officer rank,he'd have had to apply for them.

    No application = no MIC.

    Ohhhhh ! ..... thats why my others did .... it's written all over their cards !!

    He was shell shocked ... and probably the medals were the last thing on his mind !!
