Hi ian here not in or been in the Sussex Regt was in the Royal Marines. I have joined this site to try and find some information on my Dad who is Joe Sutton, he joined in June 1939 regimental number 6399816 I belive he was at or near Dunkirk!! and was transfered to the Royal Linconshire Regt in Sept 1942, He then joined the Palastine Police force in Feb 1944 until March 1947. I just hoped some one may reconize his name or may even have served with him, He is still alive but not very well and has lost most of his memories of his war time. Any help trying to piece toghether his war years wouls be gratley appriciated thanks Ian
