Hurricane Crash

    Yes - though it maybe a mixed bag - if it turns out to be a problem with the aircraft then it may affect the remaining that still flying, and if it turns out to be pilot error then it would be very sad news as he was a very experienced pilot.

    I see they are saying that the accident which killed the Macrae family was the result of pilot error. That is another interesting chrash report to read as well

    And yet all the locals who knew the engine note of Macrae's helicopter are saying it was running rough.

    Sad news all round. On my arrival in South Africa on the morning of the 14th one of the freeways was closed due to a Tiger Moth crashing on it and colliding with cars during an emergency landing. The Tiggie's passenger was killed.

    "Missing Man" formation is normally 'finger four' where No2 peels off leaving a gap in the formation ie a missing man:
