Right now there are too many external forces involved in the Syrian war. Actually, it was the case from the very start. No way some civilians could suddenly organize into armies powerful enough to have the government troops on the run. Anyway, there are basically a few factions with different goals in mind. The two main ones would be 1. Overthrow Assad. (US and a few allies opened want Assad gone) 2. Help Assad. (Russia wanted to back Assad and have him stay) So the war will end up one way or another. Which result will actually happen in your opinion?
