Hello! Being from the U.S. most of my discussions and research has been from this perspective, so I am honored to be part of a forum from such a diverse group of people with similar interest. I find it exciting to gain insight about military history from everyone around the world. Hmm. A little bit about me besides a love of history, I did a short stint in the Army, husband served several years, along with many family members; such as, one of my grandfathers served in WW! stationed over in Schweinfurt, Germany and that was were I was stationed, too. Kind of a weird coincidence. My other grandfather was a medic and died on the front lines right around D-day. As far as, a favorite timeline for military history, I do not have one. Every era interests me. I truly look forward to joining in on some of the conversation here on this forum!
