It's the 239th birthday for the Marine Corps. The Corps was established 10 November 1775. Of course, you Marines know that so I'm not telling ya'll anything. Is it true that the date is stamped on your buckets in basic? Always wondered why you guys were issued a bucket. I'm a little jealous really. The Army didn't feel it necessary to train us in the proper use of a bucket. We had to concentrate on m-14 usage, hand-to-hand, drill, and stuff like that! But no bucket training!

Just messing with ya'll. Tilt one or two back and enjoy your day. Once a Marine, always a Marine!
