I always seem to be drawn to Chaplains .... this handsome man is a German Catholic priest ... does anybody know anything about him please ?

Studio portrait of Catholic Priest / Feldgeistliche, Georg Timpe sent from Kurland (now Latvia) in July 1916.

Catholic and Lutheran Feldgeistliche wore a small enameled cross on their Schirmmutze (cap), between the two kokarden.

A simple Google search on Georg Timpe revealed he authored a paper entitled, Die deutsche St. Bonifatius Mission in London, 1809–1909, London 1909.
