Hello friends. One of my favorite subjects of study is the Spanish Civil War, for a variety of reasons. Some of it geopolitical and others personal as I am ethnically a Spaniard. Anyway, in my travels, I came across the 1943 classic For Whom the Bell Tolls on YouTube. The film is based upon Hemingway's novel of the same name, and is set during the aforementioned conflict. The film stars Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman. It was filmed in the then new-ish Technicolor. Anyway, I thought I'd pass it along. Cheers.
