    Hi Cally and Hugh !

I know this is off topic ... but I wonder if you can help ....

At Fleetwood they are celebrating their lifeboats 150th year.
And they are trying to find out about their fifth lifeboat called the Edith.
She was a gift from a Miss Carew of Shrewsbury and served at the station from 1887 to 1894 saving 19 lives
They have one photo of her in the New Brighton boatyard .... but don't know if thats where she was built

Any help would be appreciated !

    Annie :)

    Sorry Annie,
I have drawn a blank with this one. You have picked a difficult boat to research as her tonnage will be low so wont be mentioned in some of the standard books. The 19th century is also outside my comfort zone.
    Regards
    Hugh
