    Looking for imformation on how this guy won the DCM.

    He was Gazetted 9th December 1914 ..... but it doesn't give details I'm afraid ....

    It's possible it maybe in the War Diary .... have you tried there already ?

    EDIT ........ One of the guys on another forum I frequent - suggests you try the curator of Kings Own Royal Lancaster Museum in Lancaster, apparently he is very helpful in filling in missing details.

    Thanks for the info but i have gone down these avenues and not really got much from there. Am going to try the IWM in the next few weeks.
