I am trying to get the correct camouflage used by Vietkong Snipers during Vietnam war 1965-69. I've heard 3 possible answers, but which one is correct or more used during that time period.
Some say that it was the US ARMY silk parachutes turned into smocks or jumpers.
I've also been told it was an East German DDR uniform. In the early days it was of a leaf pattern, later to a spot pattern.
Which is correct, or was used more during that theatre? It is for a Vietnam War diorama I am currently working on and I am looking to be as accurate as possible.

Thanks for all who read and reply.
