One WW II film that was brilliant and very chilling for me was Conspiracy, which is not a particularly high profile movie. There is not a single shot fired in the film which takes place almost entirely in an elegant meeting room. In it some of the key figures in the Third Reich discuss the final solution. It is obviously not an action film but I thought it to be a very strong and moving and realistic film. The stars include Kenneth Branagh as Heydrich and Stanley Tucci as Eichmann. It was an HBO production incidentally. Ryder13
