Colour photos of Russian troops.

    Very interesting. Do you think they are all genuine? - some look a little too good to be true. Some may be colourised black-and-white photos.

    Going to the bottom of the WW2 series, there are photos of under the heading "Russian Flying Fortresses", where the caption admits the colour pics are CGI, though based on the Koslov Gigant showed in the b & w photos.

    I would say almost all of those have been staged, and most colourised. The way that some of the colours stand out, and not balanced by the back/foreground colours seems to highlight that.

    A few of them actually look like they are publicity shots for films.
