My project is collecting Headstone/Memorial photo's of Australians who were killed while in the AFC/RFC/RNAS/RAF during WW1.

If you can assist me with the project or know of someone who can please let me know. These 324 Australians are buried in 157 cemeteries 12 countries of which 63 are in the UK.

There are now only 124 photos remaining to be collected.

    Cheers

What a lot of work you've done already ...... do you have a website for them all ?

Maybe you could post a few names at a time on here Geoff and lets see what people can find for you !

    Hi Annie,

I will place the required ones into countries for those outside the UK and counties for those in the UK in a separate thread.

I have concluded research on many of them however there are those where I just have the Australian Roll of Honour or Australian Commemorative Roll for those Australians who fought with the UK under the RFC/RNAS/RAF.

    Cheers

    Geoff

    Hi Annie,
I am the eldest grandson of Lt Frank Alberry DFC.
He is burried at the old Footscray Cemetary in Victoria Australia.
I have a photo of him, others I cant find.
    Hope this helps
