The Canadian Letters and Images Project is an online archive relating to the Canadian war experience which is organised under the auspices of the History Department of Malaspina University College Canada. It provides access to hundreds of letters, diary entries, reminiscences and photographs from Canadian soldiers involved in conflicts from the 19th Century to the present day. They include materials from the Boer War, First World War, Second War and soldiers involved in 20th century peace keeping operations. A fascinating insight is provided into the lives and experiences of ordinary soldiers.
