Does anybody know's how the British POW's came back from Turkey/Anatolie in 1919. Did they came back by there selfs to Smyrna (Izmir) or were they brought by the Turks?
I went along the railroad through Turkey from Nusaybin (border Syrie) to Izmir and found some interesting things about WW1.
A big POW camp, (still remaining barracks) at Belemedik in the Taurus mountains, a hospital and a prison in Adana.
(forgive my English I am Dutch my grandfather English, 7th N.Staffs and RE)
