While most of what I look up say that the British occupation was limited to the capital region of the Philippines, a friend of mine mentioned the presence of British troops in the region of Bohol around that time? I thought it would be interesting to research because British occupation happened for such a short time and hardly bore mention. Most history textbooks when I lived in the Philippines focused only on Spanish colonialism. Dutch colonies had a stronger foothold nearby at the time, but from the sound of it they never even tried to make a move.
