Anybody got any idea how much info may be in a personnel record for an ATS "officer"? apart from description and join up / demob dates ! My mum was equivalent to 2nd Lt and i have photos of her in uniform with lanyard which ive been told indicates service with AA unit in Manchester/Stockport area. Been wondering if its worth spending £30 on service record, if they still exist !! Thanks!
Hi Cavair I think the money would be well worth spending on her record. It would show her postings, promotion dates, training, and many other things including medical records. Might take sometime to come through to you as the last time i heard there was a several month waiting list. Sniper
