I started reading this book by Daniel Woodrell; he is the author who wrote Winter's Bone. It's about a group of Confederate Marauders in the Kansas Missouri area during the war. Has anyone else read it? It's pretty brutal, but I am enjoying it so far.

I have read that book. It is quite depressing in the start itself. The depiction of the Confederates are very iconic because of the fact that the war was so brutal that the climax is quite chilling even to read. Let me know afterwards how it was.

Will do. Just got to the end of their stay in the dugout...
