91th anniversary of "Battle of the lys"

Discussion in 'World War 1' started by Michel Knockaert, Apr 10, 2009.

  1. Today is April 10 and 91 years ago, my village, La Couture, who was in the British hands since the beginning of the war, fell into German hands at 1o: 45 AM, after the surrender of British and Portuguese soldiers who had fiercely resisted the German attack.
