Best of luck mate, I probably missed you as you would be admitted by now our time.

My wife Debrah was taken via Paramedic to the Alfred ICU last Tuesday, then after 4 hours moved her to emergency and another 36 Hrs she was in a ward.
She had extreme pancreatic pain along with upper and lower chest pain, Non stop nausea for past 4 or 5 days prior to calling 000 it's a regular enough occurrence even after they gave her a injection for it, it doesn't allways work, this time it settled her down but she had to have another anti nausea shot along with a morphine drip 5 mls a hour, Tuesday night after leaving the hospital i was scared as Debrah was past deathly or ghostly white she was the colour of some one about to die. Thank god for the high quality health care we have down here, did not cost us 1 cent for anything incl paramedics.
She slowly became better and came home last night (Sunday) so 5 days in hospital. Again I cannot say anything but the best about the Alfred Hospital, for both myself and Debrah have had several good experiences at the Alfred in Melbourne and that is in the Public wards no private insurance here medicare and 1 or 2 % of income all the way.

I'm getting confused! This refers to Cobber and his wife Debrah? Cobber, pleased to hear that Debrah is recovering, must have been very worrying for you both.

No news on John yet? Monday 6th 14:20 English time so I guess op is over and we will just have to wait until he is well enough to log on again - do hope it isn't long. Isn't John in Queensland not Victoria so probably not in same hospital?

Spot on alright mate, I'm down here in Vicmexitio, he's up in Quecandane though I am sure that the hospitals in QLD are as good as anywhere else. The Hospital Debrah went to has had scores of million dollars in donations so they have been busy updating everything over past 10 years and are still at it.

    G'day Heidi mate,
With all due respect mate but how about proof reading before you post. No offence meant at all and I'm not looking for trouble or trying to start any.
I'm completely useless at sentence and spelling myself, and can take a long time to just post a couple of lines.

I guess I'm just asking could you please take more care with you threads a quick proof read before posting will work well.

    With My best Regards
    Cobber

I reckon you are doing a top of the line job, it's cannot be easy to write in a language that is not your first known one, i know i would have trouble writing in another language. So we will leave from the past and look towards the future.

Sure I will help point out any real spelling clangers Heidi but I'll go lightly on you as their are in the English language many words spelt the same or differently but still mean the same.

Also we all usually know what you mean when you write, and if I don't then I'll ask you mate.

His operation would have finished now and i do think he is in the recovering room.
If someone passes away, one of the members family members normally would log in and state a post about the members death, and in this case it has not happend.
It's like 99% that he's going to be fine.

I do wish a full speedy peaceful recovery to John.:humble:

Yeah Monday was 4 days ago now, though a operation on the brain can take a lot out of a pateint and it might be a few more days before he has the strength to get to the internet at the Hospital.

To all the wonderful forum members of WW2.

    I MADE IT

Operated Tuesday 10am and again 9:30am Friday. Surgeon pleased with the result of both surgury. Now sitting hear at my computer with sore bandaged head and a sore bandaged leg. They did put me out for both operations even though anaesthetist was real keen on the idea.
Will be back on air to-morrow as I need to lay down now.
