Sorry to bust your bubble Heidi, but it's NOT a political party that's challenging the grant.
It is an individual lawyer (Constitutional I think) that has been keeping all sides of government honest for many years. He is only arguing on a point of law. He doesn't actually care about the money.

Thanks for correcting me on my mistake GW.

Rant- There is still a chance of getting our $900 on monday.

Rave- It's still being debated in court.

Rant and Rave- Half of the population (mothers) have recieved there $900 thats great!but the rest of us may not receive ours. Not fair.

Sorry for going on about this,i am a little ped off! When some one promises they should keep ther promise or if you can't give it too every one, don't give out any at all.

I got that out of my chest, i am happy now.

    No problems.
However I suggest you don't hold your breath waiting on ANY politician:
Left Central Right in any country to follow through on all promises made.

It's cold here on the Alabama Gulf Coast too. We even had a touch of frost this morning to go with our record low.

RANT: this bloke has certainly taken a lot from what he has apparently been taught in church. I've got the tar, anyone got some feathers?

And don't forget he's a church goer - by the way, any idea which church/religion he belongs to?

RANT: Further to post 45 in Wally of the week, it is now a year ans 2 days since the car was hit by a drunken driver and I have JUST picked it up from the garage for the umpteenth time after more costly repairs to the hood.

RANT: I just had to go and buy some new shoes - honestly totally depressing!!!

RAVE: Still humbled by the Major who has just finished the London Marathon so car - shoes - whatever!!!

Wouldn't be so bothered if I'd known who it was that rear ended me. they'd have been the next tipped.

So was I! I was swerving to avoid a kid who shot across in front of me out of control, and cos I was already tilted I then got rear ended at the same time which over balanced the Kayak. Doesn't help that at the time the start of the Ammonia pollution was just hitting the reservoir. Glad I was further up from it!

Ah well am currently trying to figure out how to get further training and practice in a kayak/canoe that won't cost me the earth.

    My rant of the day.
I just found out bugs are being planted in purchases from main supermarkets, so small, ie. the size of a grain of sand, so that they can be inserted into every type of purchase, even into the seams of your underwear. Making you trackable, and telling the supermaket what you are wearing.
How far the tracking can reach out, I have yet to find out.
But as Mr. Orwell said, we are not alone!
Sleep tight, but keep very still, we don't want to give our watchers the wrong idea. do we ?
