Hi there, what info do you need on Jack Wight? Lt. JR Wight SAAF, North Africa 2 Squadron 1941-1943.

      Hello sir,

happy new year. I am sending you this message in order to ask you for a favor. I have seen that the book "War in a stringbag" by Charles Lamb, contains elements and information about the airfield of Paramythia, on which I have started a research. Unfortunately, I do not have this book, and I kindly ask you if you could scan or take some shots of the pages that talk about the campaign in Greece. Furthermore, I would like to ask you whether there are any photos of Paramythia arifield in this book. If you are not able or willing to do this, there is absolutely no problem! Thank you in advance!

      Faithfully,

      E.Serbis

      Hi AA,
Just put a photo of El Alamein on the site.
Was limited as to the category, so it's marked as the Ardenne.
      Sorry about the confusion.

      Cheers
      GW

Hi ! Thank you for invitation to register with WW1 talk. I am WW2 veteran but have great interest in WW1 as my Dad served in Australian Army in France at that time and as a boy I listened to his stories of the Western Front. I look forward to logging on to WW1 Talk and learning more of that conflict.
