For me it came down to at least two (2) of Heidis post in the British inventions thread. Final straw was Aussie Inventions thread post.
I will speak no more of this.

As much as I liked Heidi and her innocent way in which she sometimes confused me about what she was trying to say, but she had been warned by the mods a couple of times to stop in the thread Mehar linked, so I guess they had no choice.

    Heidi

    Hi Mehar,
Thank you for pointing out, to me, Heidi's previous gaffes.
I now see she has been warned on previous occasions, which I was not aware of.
I think regardless, of her poor grasp of the language, she has overstepped the line regarding impolite references to colour and creed.
It may be obvious that I have backed Heidi, making excuses because of her age and lack of the niceties of the language, I should have realised when Kitty drew the line, there was good reason, no-one has had more tolerance than her, with Heidi's blunders.

I am still saddened, now with Heidi's refusal to toe the line.
    Thank you again Mehar.

    Cheers
    Keith

Afraid it was the combination of both threads that brought on the decision to ban. Once we could have accepted as a blunder, repeated and we ban.

So what other inventions have us Australians created, the list in the links seems to cover most.
Black Boxes for Air Planes (??)

What about the "Spork" one of the great pieces of cutlery. I still have not seen a Silver Spork as yet,but i betcha they exist somewhere.

The Black Box Flight Recorder was there somewhere.

With respect to the CSIRO invention of the Jindalee Radar system, that can track the "Untrackable Stealth" bomber.

I saw a Steven Seagal movie (Under Siege11) the other night where they used this system to target and destroy a Stealth Bomber.

The black box flight recorder was in their somewhere.
    Unquote
Mate thanks for letting me know that "Black Boxes" may have been mentioned in one of the links all ready provided in this thread.

Does it worries you that i briefly in one very short short sentance may of mentioned something that is also maybe in a link allready previously provided.

It is so small of a thing, why did you even mention it. If I had gone on and on about it yeah man get stuck in, but one brief mention and with muliple question marks after the words. Man leave the past behind.

    PEACE

Cobber mate, what are you talking about?

You asked the question with the double question marks not me. I was only letting you know that "yes" it was there somewhere.

There was no malice in my post for God's sake.

Did something happen in the past? I must have a bad memory!

    Cheers

    Geoff
