I am not mad at you because you did not insult my team.

I'm sorry everyone around the world, but I have to school Warhawk before returning to the topic of this website. The Eagles blitzed frequently and still got their butts whacked even with Dawkins, who is better than Troy-boy, in the backfield (don't forget Asante Samuel). With the 4 man P-burgh front, Warner will be able to pick his nose before throwing for strikes; you may remember Penn State Levi Brown up front kickin' it and effectively blocking two rushers at a time. Warhawk, have your hanky ready as Pittsburgh goes down, hard. Edgerin James will have a field day on a run defense that is holier than the pontiff.

    :D
I am prepared to talk smack on Sunday. As for Dawkins he is getting old and he does not play like he used to. The Steelers send less people and have better blitzers. Remember the Cards have never been on this big of a stage before ( Mix in some research, the Cards only have 5 players that have played in the bowl vs. 25 men for the Steelers. Most of this team was on the 05' team and they one the superbowl. Remember the Cards went 9-7 vs. 12-4 Steelers. We better murder the Cards for what they did to the Eagles. The stupid mascot for the Cards stomped on the Terrible Towel ( he will pay for that.) You live in P.A ( I bet you a are an Eagles fan that hates the Steelers when they are just as far away from you as the Eales.).:caked:

Remember the 00 Ravens ( they had a half decent run game with Jammal Lewis) they went 4 games in a row without scoring a td and they won the bowl.:link::mod::gathering: I knew someone would want to talk smack with me. That Steelers line is good enough to be a blitzing team. That is what I am saying the Steelers will not blitz like the Eagles( therefore there will be more coverage.)

Cover all you want, WH, Fitzgerald will romp like a gazelle through their defensive backs and their wimpy linebacker core, or, like a Spit MkIX through a flock of Do-217E's.

Momentum, WH, old boy, momentum. P-burgh is comparable to the Volksturm at this point.

Give me double or nothing on von Paulus at that Russky tractor factory town.

HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO. # 1 DEFENSE HERE WE GO, # 1 AGAINST THE PASS HERE WE GO STEEL CURTAIN. THE STEEL CURTAIN IS BACK. YOU Cardinals, you have the worst linebacking core ever. Did we not kill the Pats and the Cowboys, two great off.?:caked: YOU MEAN YOU ARE GOING WITH A TEAM THAT HAS NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE?:caked: When did I ever say that the Steelers were going to kill the Cards in my opinion it will be a hard game. We have two opinions that differ.:D We have the best linebacking core of today. EDIT I MISSED THAT YOU SAID THAT JAMES WILL RUN ALL OVER THE FIELD ON US , HE IS TOO OLD TO DO THAT WE ARE GOING TO HAMMER HIM AND KNOCK HIM OUT FOR THE GAME. THE BIG LETTERS IS TO CATCH YOUR ATTENTION SINCE THIS IS AN EDIT. We just disagree fixel 101.

Sorry I didn't know that one had to do this either. Doesn't it mean that one can never be sure that one has read all of the preceding posts in case they have been amended or am I misunderstanding you?

I thought you meant the group!!!!

Am I the only one who hasn't a clue what you are both talking about?

I think that rugby is hard enough to understand but American Football??????

Hi War Hawk ... I rather feared that you might!!!!

  15. I've played both. I played Rugby Union (not league) and American football. They're both so different, and it's not really fair to denigrate the "gridiron" at the expense of Rugby. In fact, you all are very lucky that the US doesn't embrace Rugby as a major sport, otherwise all you would be playing for second place. Really. :D

  16. First of all, on football: On any given Sunday, any team in the NFL is capable of beating any other."

The best sports-history analogy: Beano Cook describing good teams playing road games in difficult stadiums- "Germany had a better team, but they had to play Russia on the road".

When I say Steel Curtain( that was the Steelers in the 70s). My avatar is the Steelers symbol.

WH: Your avatar, in reality, is the terrible towel! You had better use it in preparation of girding your loins to the beating you and the rusty curtain will endure tomorrow, or be ready to wipe your eyes and blow your nose with the thing. Cardinals, 28-10.

Fixel, talking smack with the best of 'em.
