    Never ceases to amaze me how so many areas of service were overlooked for recognition.

    There are so many stories and unsung heroes out there.

    Let's hope that these tales will continue to surface for years to come.

    One of the aims of this forum is to give recognition to those "non combat" contributors whose efforts helped to ensure success at the front line.

    And, in this case, the combat contributors who were just lumped in with everyone else, or looked down upon, but contributed so much (terrible to start a sentence with "and" but this one makes sense...!).

    I think we're making a fair effort on both fronts, Spidgeman, and I know you would agree.

    How true it is. I wish my Uncle would talk of his time at Stalga Luft IV, but it will never happen.
