I have recently updated my profiles on the ten unfortunate WRENS killed in the bombing of Lee-on-Solent, 23rd November 1940.

From a web search the only info I find is that they died when their billet, Mansfield House, Lee-on-Solent was hit during the raid. Would anybody have any further details particularly a press report - specific memorial – or any other info relevant to the incident?

Also I have photos of the graves of eight buried in Haslar Royal Naval Cemetery but missing two buried elsewhere and would be grateful if anybody can oblige:-

BENNETT, Joyce Milicent - Dorking Cemetery, Surrey - Plot 1. Grave 5266

    BLACKETT, Winnie - Moorgate Cemetery, Rotherham - Sec.R, 1st New, Grave 53

    Grateful for any assistance

    Tony
