I just read an article about the rediscovery of many thousand of personal items of victims of the Auschwitz extermination camp. Details, and some very haunting photographs, may be read here. The Holocaust was one of the darkest chapters in human history. But still, as students of history, it is worth knowing about. So, I just thought I'd pass it along.
