Royal Air Force pilot born Jamaica

    I found this ... now I have to go back and find my source ......

    This is the tombstone in Poznan Old Garrrison Cemetery, Poland, for Alfred George Henriques, Flight Lieutenant, Royal Air Force pilot, who died in Poland on August 17, 1944, at the age of 28.

    He was the son of Alfred and Linda Henriques, born December 15, 1915 in Jamaica (from the records of the Amalgamated Congregation of Israelites).

    Took off at 20.57 from East Kirkby. All are buried in Poznan Old Garrison Cemetery. Reason for loss not known
