Some time ago ... Kyt found the following details of postings for two of my priests ... my question is ... how can I go about finding out what was happening at Middle East (HQ) 15 Dec 1942 at that time ? and also what was happening at the Western Desert May 1941 - I thought that was the Desert Rats and Rommel ?... were the RAF involved too ?

Just to answer the last part of the question first, yes the RAF were very much involved in North Africa from the earliest days of the fighting. Both fighters and bombers too action against the Italian forces. Is there anything specific you wanted to know?

As for what was happening in North Africa, this maybe a start

    Thanks Kyt !

Yes ... I've just been reading that ! ... I've been working on my Honour Roll and thought I'd try again and see what I could find on these men and what they would have been up against at that time !
